Widgett Walls is webmaster, writer, and freelance iconoclast dividing his time between Atlanta, Georgia and Coast City, Iowa. He founded Needcoffee.com in 1997 and began attracting whackos from across the Net who wanted to come help him whitewash that particular fence. His first novel, Mystics on the Road to Vanishing Point, was published in 2002. His first short story collection, Magnificent Desolation, saw publication early in 2005. He maintains a LiveJournal of microfictions under the name onetusk. He hosts an ongoing science fiction shared universe called Dark Blue Monstropolis. He writes under the pen name of John Robinson at times. We think it might be a tax dodge. He will plug himself shamelessly because no one else will. He hardly ever sleeps.

Not a bad little quiz. I did 10 out of 16. I'm amazed I got the football question right. I probably couldn't pick a football out of a lineup.

Interesting. What are the alternatives to Amazon? The chain brick and mortar stores simply don't cut it anymore and I couldn't tell you where an indie bookstore within ten miles of my house is. So...this could get ugly.
